Ready to take your running to the next level? Join the Cheyenne Running Club and Kierston Murphy of Proactive Nutrition Consulting for a morning of movement and education! We’re kicking things off with a social run for all levels, followed by an exclusive in-person workshop: "Fueling the Run: Nutrition Strategies for Stronger Miles."
Whether you're training for your first 5K or prepping for a marathon, what you put in your tank matters. Learn how to crush your goals without the "bonk."

Cupid's Crawl
It’s Love at First Stride! Join us for a Valentine’s Day inspired Run Crawl to celebrate our one true love….RUNNING!
We’ll kick off the festivities at Four Winds and hit a few other lovely spots along the route. Whether you’re running solo, with friends, or alongside your sweetheart, this event is all about fun, movement and community.
Expect good vibes and be ready to have a lot of hearty laughs. Bring along payment method and ID (purchases at route stops are not required). Prize awarded for best Valentine’s Day attire. Let’s dodge (or not dodge) Cupid’s arrow together!
Winter Trails
Winter will not deter us, no way! We are going to embrace it, and continue to do what we love. And yes, that means trail running!!
Join us on the multi-use trails at Happy Jack, as we embark on an epic adventure in the Great Outdoors. While the trails are well maintained, we recommend you bring cramp ons (Yak Trax, Kahtoola, etc.) to ensure you have traction in the packed snow. If you have never enjoyed Happy Jack in the winter months, prepare to be in awe of the winter majesty just a few miles up the road.
P.S. Happy Jack is higher in elevation, and often times a bit more chilly than in either Cheyenne or Laramie, but the plus side is the dense forest helps block much of the wind.

Winter Adventures : Snowshoe Wandering
No need to be all blue in the winter months, there are still so many great adventures to be had! Join us as we embark on a 5 mile trek through the Happy Jack area. This will be a snow shoe / winter hike event. Please bring snowshoes or cramp ons, and of course warm clothing, water, and snack so you you may best enjoy this thrilling event.
If you would like to rent snowshoes, please visit Rock on Wheels for great solutions. If you have base access you can also rent snowshoes at Outdoor Rec.

Christmas Eve: Joy to the World
Christmas Eve is here, and since all of you have been such good runners this year, we have wrapped a very special present for you and have placed it under the tree. This will be a GPS Art Run to celebrate the holiday, so don’t forget those santa hats and some tinsel, and let’s have “the hap-hap-happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tapdanced with Danny Kaye”. You won't want to miss this, so let's unwrap this present together, and perhaps spread a little holiday runner cheer!

Sunset on the Winter Solstice
Let’s celebrate the shortest day of the year with a special holiday themed GPS Art Run. As is our tradition for the Winter Solstice, we will pair this with a food drive. Everyone who donates 5 non-perishable food items at this event will be entered into a drawing for a cozy CRC swag item sure to be a household favorite during the chilly months.
We are also in the midst of our annual Run2Give fundraiser, this year supporting CASA of Laramie County. So to continue in the spirit of giving, anyone who also purchases Run2Give entries at this event, will also receive an additional entry into the evening’s giveaway. So double down, this is your opportunity to give back and have the potential to win!
