Winter Trails

Winter will not deter us, no way!  We are going to embrace it and continue to do what we love.  And yes, that means trail running!! Please stay watchful on our social media channels i.e. FB ,IG & Strava for event changes or cancellations in the event of inclement weather. You may likely encounter snow on the terrain, so we recommend you bring cramp ons (Yak Trax, Kahtoola, etc.) to ensure you have traction in the packed snow.

Winter Trails

Winter will not deter us, no way!  We are going to embrace it and continue to do what we love.  And yes, that means trail running!!

Join us on the multi-use trails at Tie City, as we embark on an epic adventure in the Great Outdoors.  While the trails are well maintained, we recommend you bring cramp ons (Yak Trax, Kahtoola, etc.) to ensure you have traction in the packed snow.  If you have never enjoyed Happy Jack in the winter months, prepare to be in awe of the winter majesty just a few miles up the road.

P.S. Tie City is higher in elevation, and often times a bit more chilly than in either Cheyenne or Laramie, but the plus side is the dense forest helps block much of the wind.

Spring Training: Beginners Series

Spring Training is here! Join us this Spring for an exciting eight-week series of beginner runs on Mondays starting 3/30, 6p at Cahill Park!

This series will allow you to familiarize yourself with trying out different paces, both with a group and by yourself. Walking is acceptable and encouraged as needed. You can expect the length of the run to be between 1-3 miles at the same starting point every week, so an out and back option is always available for those wanting to pick their own distance. However, you will have a leader to give you an idea on how to strategize and improve your run with each session!

This run is also kid and pet friendly....wheels and paws are welcome to tag along! Although geared towards new runners or those getting back into running, we still encourage intermediate and advance runner participation.

At the end of this series, our goal is for you to feel confident to continue your running journey and join some of our other amazing weekly running events and races happening this summer!
