Our annual weeklong celebration of Global Running Day is is back! The Poker Run is always a blast of a time, and we can’t wait to have some wild and crazy times with you!

Grand Prize:
A brand new pair of shoes (up to $150) and CRC shirt of choice!
2nd Place:
A free entry (any distance) to the Great Bison Shuffle and a CRC BOCO Gear Trail Hat!
3rd Place:
A free entry to the Will Run for Cannoli 5k and fine set of WY Bib Boards!
How to Play:
From June 4 - 10, go for a run, or several, and track it on your preferred activity tracker (yep, that means apps like Strava, Garmin, Map My Run, Adidas Running, etc). While on the run, stop by each of the Poker Stops listed below to draw a playing card. Be sure to take a selfie with your card, ensuring the card value is clear to see. Return the card to the deck, and thank our contest partners for being so amazing to support this event! Build your best poker hand to take on others in the running community and have a chance to score some great prizes! Plan out your runs and routes, as card pickup is only available during a business's posted hours. Please only collect one card per business throughout the week.

Run with us at our Sunday Beginner Trails June 8th or at Track Tuesday on June 10th (or both and get 2 cards)
How to earn a joker (can become any card you would like)
Run to collect cards at all Poker Stops within a single tracked run (again, must occur when all businesses are open).
Run with us for at least 5 of our runs scheduled throughout the Poker Run week (see events for all the fun)
We also have a few smaller prizes we will be giving away at each of our runs. These will be randomly awarded to the runners present, plus all club runs through out the week earn cards. So this is a win win to maybe big win.
Contest Rules:
All runs must be tracked using an activity tracker that can display the details, including the GPS route, of the run.
All selfies taken must be clearly visible pictures of you, the card, and your location. If images are un clear for any of these items, it will not be counted.
A screen capture of your activity tracker for each run, plus selfies, must be submited to the CRC through email (info@cheyennerunningclub.org) or via social PM (FB or Insta) by 8am MT June 11.
If you earned a wild card, please state so in your message to us, along with what your hand is. (there are many resources online for poker hands, if you are not all too familiar)
To be eligle for prizes, you must be a current a current member of the Cheyenne Running Club as of 11:59 PM MT on June 10.
The participants with the top three 5 card poker hands will win a prize based on their place. If for any reason a tie may occur, a tie breaker may commence by a rigorous obstacle course challenge and chopsticks... well, or by just looking at any bonus cards, or drawing another from the deck.
Terms and Conditions (the boring, but important stuff):
Participation is open to all area runners, however, only Cheyenne Running Club members* are eligible to win the listed contest prizes.
Participants must follow all rules as posted in the rules and terms and conditions section, or risk disqualification from event. Validation of compliance is at the discretion of the Cheyenne Running Club
An eligible run must be at least one mile in length, with the route including the business where participant is drawing a poker card from.
Submission of registration is your consent to allow photos taken during the event and those submitted to be utilized by the Cheyenne Running Club and event sponsors in social media and advertising for this and future events.
Participation in this, or any other Cheyenne Running Club event, is done at the participants risk. The Cheyenne Running Club is not responsible for any injuries sustained during such activities.
*Club membership is good for one year from date of joining the club. Non-members, or members looking to renew their membership may do so here.
